Intelligent Systems has a new HQ...and it looks awesome!

Great news to our fellow Fire Emblem fans! Intelligent Systems, the company behind the Fire Emblem series and other games like Paper Mario and Advance Wars, has a newly constructed headquarters for their team. Previously, they shared their headquarters with Nintendo’s Software Planning & Development division at Kyoto, Japan.

Hopefully, after capturing their new HQ, they now have enough resources to build a new Advance Wars game, as well as new titles for the Fire Emblem series.

Intelligent Systems currently consists of 130 employees, with 100 males and 30 females. The vast majority of the studio consists of programmers and artists.

(These are the guys behind our beloved FE characters, filled with depth and personality, as well as the support conversations that made us squeal with all the pairings and stuff!)

Intelligent Systems president and representative director Toshiyuki Nakamura writes:

Greetings, from the new company building.
I’d like to start by expressing my best wishes for your health, prosperity and joy.
Now, I’d like to let you know that our new company building has been safely completed. And I’d also like to thank you all for your warm gift of support from the bottom of my heart.
On behalf of the employees in this new world, we’re determined to work vigorously towards the aim of creating games our customers can enjoy.
Again, we thank you in advance for your continued support and patronage.
President and representative director,
Toshiyuki Nakamura

Cheers and a cup of tea to that. Thank you for the job well done, Intelligent Systems! :)
